Johnny Depp takes on Elvis in Jailhouse Rock

Description: This was my entry for the competition "Celebrity Time Travel" on Worth1000.com. The following was the brief;

"The rules of the game are thus: Place a celebrity in any time period and setting foreign to their own. It is preferable for them to adapt the dress, styles of the time period. You can place a modern celebrity into the past or you can bring a celebrity from previous eras into the future"

I went for trying to take Johnny Depp back to Elvis Presleys era. The idea was simply to take Johnny Depps head and merge it into a picture of Elvis Presley. Once I had found two good images to use it was simply a case of blending / desaturating / filtering Mr Depps face until it fit smoothly into the picture of Elivs without looking out of place. I've included the source files so you can see what I had to work with, I think the end product is not a bad effort, if I do say so myself!
